1956 AUSTIN-HEALEY 100
“The Austin-Healey 100 arose from a simple maxim; go 100 mph and look good doing it.” Not sure the exact origin of this quote but it’s difficult featuring an Austin-Healey 100 without drawing upon those words. Donald Healey gave his new sports car the “100” name back in 1952 due to its ability to reach 100 miles per hour.

This particular 100 is a restored BN2 series example, featuring the Le Mans Engine Modification Kit. 1956 was the last year of the original, strictly two-seater, Gerry Coker styled 100. Under the hood is a 4-cylinder engine, 2660cc in capacity with twin SU carburettors.
